[Particle Physics] Quark & Gluon相关

组成protons的有三个valence quarks（两个up + 一个down），还有gluons和短暂存在的sea quarks——长椅下的那堆。（能不能说其实还有更多被遮住了？xD）

在 quantum chromodynamics (QCD) 中，quarks们有三种colour charge，分别是红、绿和蓝。Quark并不是真的有颜色，只是用来比喻quark本身的物理属性。

在baryon（比如proton）中，三个valence quark的三色叠加在一起就成为无色的。Gluons不断在quark之间进行交换，这时交换gluon的两个quark，colour charge都会变。因此proton中quarks的色是一直在变的。

Quark 夸克

fermions

组成Hadrons——比如有3个 valence quarks 的 baryon，和有 1 quark + 1 antiquark 的 meson。

Quark 之间偶尔打闹但基本上感情很好。很团结，总是结伴出现。人们未曾见过落单的夸克（团子）。……Due to colour confinement, quarks are never found in isolation

不难在他们身上或是脚边找到quark、gluon团子的踪迹，曾有人见过团子忽然出现又一闪即逝……In hadrons, besides valence quarks which determines baryon number, there's also virtual gluons and quark-antiquark pairs (sea quarks)

有时团子们会趁大家不注意时，三三两两地跑到别处……Sea quarks can hadronise into baryons/mesons

被 Gluon 守护着。喜欢 W boson 做的饭菜。……The only particle that experiences all 4 fundamental forces in Standard Model

私心设定 up 是个熊孩子，常拉着 down 拟定占领世界的计划（no）……大自然中只有1st generation (up & down) quarks 是常见的，就是他们组成了 nucleons xD
